From June to September each year, The Comana Paper Mill and Crafts Village complex is open for visitors on selected Saturdays and Sundays, between 12h – 18h. During your visit, you will see craftspeople working in the workshops or you can even make an object yourself. We also organize open workshops, where you can register ahead of time.
By paying the participation fee, by purchasing products manufactured here, as well as by participating in our workshops, you sustain crafts and hard-working people from Comana village.
Admission fees
Guided tour in English: 25 lei. 20 lei for students, retired and disabled people.
Unguided visit: 15 lei. 10 lei for students, retired and disabled people.
Special fees for families:
Free admission for children under 3 years old.
Groups of more than 15 people will pay the guided tour fee.
For groups of children and adults, we can organize workshops of:
Handmade paper
Letterpress printing
Bookbinding
Hand Loom Weaving
Reed mace processing
Pottery and ceramic modeling
Woodwork
Postcard making
We also organize seasonal workshops: of greeting cards and decorations for the 1st and 8th of March, at Easter and Christmas.
